2024 Badminton Horse Trials winners Greenacres Special Cavalier & Caroline Powell

Caroline Powell showcased a remarkable display of eventing prowess aboard Greenacres Special Cavalier, securing the top spot in the 2024 Mars Badminton Horse Trials standings. Despite starting in sixth place following the cross-country phase with the splendid 11-year-old mare owned by Chris Mann, Caroline delivered one of just three flawless showjumping rounds within the allotted time. This impressive performance granted the 51-year-old rider from New Zealand her inaugural Badminton title. Their final score stood at 43.2, a notable improvement from their initial seventh-place position after the dressage phase with a score of 30.
